Training
Many of the Women Make History participants and volunteers have learnt lots of new skills, gained confidence and done things that have both challenged and surprised them. Formal and informal training takes place on an ongoing basis in this area of GWL’s programme including Tour Guide Training, project planning and development and research and communication skills. Women have gained confidence in their use of the computer to find out more about people and places and have learnt how to get the most out of working as part of team.
